Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in Federal Way, WA. This role offers a dynamic clinical environment with hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, emphasizing evidence-based care and patient independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license required in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and self-management.
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development.
• Assist in discharge planning for community or home-based care.
