Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a skilled travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Olympia, WA. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapies to restore mobility and reduce pain.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a shift of 8 hours, and includes comprehensive benefits, licensure reimbursement, and support from a dedicated clinical team. New grads are welcome to apply and may require additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• New grads welcome; PT experience preferred but not required.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and caregivers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
