Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ashland, Alabama. As part of our team, you’ll evaluate, diagnose and treat patients to improve mobility and quality of life, while working with a dedicated clinical team.

Required: valid PT license in state regulations and BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads welcome. Excellent travel pay packages and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical Therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on findings and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safety within therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for community or home-based care.
