Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Montgomery, Alabama. The role offers the opportunity to impact patient mobility and quality of life while working with a supportive clinical team.

Eligible therapists hold a state license, BLS certification, and prefer a Doctorate in Physical Therapy; new grads welcome. The assignment runs 40 hours per week, with day shifts, in a hospital/clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions.
