Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Ashland, KY. You’ll evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized rehab plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to improve mobility and function.

The role requires a PT license, BLS, and a drive for high-quality patient care, with benefits and support from a traveler-focused team. Must be able to travel to the Ashland facility.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment.
