Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Port Orchard, WA. The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain across hospital, clinic, or rehab settings, delivering personalized plans with strong clinical skills.

The role requires an active PT license, BLS, and strong communication, with opportunities for growth and ongoing education supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment and modalities safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
