Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and quality of life in diverse clinical settings, including hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions to home or community.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
