Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Punxsutawney, PA. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients to improve mobility and quality of life while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification. Doctorate in PT preferred; new grads welcome. Travel benefits include competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• New grads welcome to apply with Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Apply PT techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development.
• Assist in discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
