Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of each patient's condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care for the problems identified, involving the patient and family.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques suited to the patient's condition.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress accurately.
