Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Oxford, Florida. The role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE, plus licensure in progress and CPR certification.

The position offers 40 hours per week for 13 weeks with a flexible 14-hour shift. Travel benefits include housing allowance or private housing, weekly pay, credentialing fee coverage, health insurance, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist/PT or actively in the licensure process.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity.
• Set realistic, achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Develops a plan of care for each patient and provides skilled PT services per physician orders.
