Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires a valid PT license, current BLS, and strong communication and clinical skills. Travel benefits include competitive pay, day one benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Assess patient progress and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
