The role requires a PT degree, Texas license (or eligible for temporary license), and 0–2 years of pediatric, womens health, orthopedics, or sports medicine

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of pediatric, womens health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience or residency.
• Ability to work in outpatient developmental therapy clinic and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
• Amend therapy approaches as needed based on patient progress.
• Design orthotic equipment and assistive devices as part of therapy.
• Coordinate patient care activities with families and other clinicians.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with patients and caregivers.

Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) The Woodlands, outpatient developmental therapy clinic. This position involves planning, evaluating, and implementing developmentally appropriate physical therapy treatment programs for patients from neonates to adults. The role requires collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and monitor patient progress in an outpatient setting.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy, PT license in Texas (or eligible for temporary license), and 0-2 years of pediatric, womens health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience or residency.
• Schedule: Day shifts on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; optional 12-hour shifts (7:00 am 7:00 pm) with remote documentation possible.
• Position located at an outpatient developmental therapy clinic, working alongside other Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, amending therapy approaches as needed, designing orthotic equipment, and coordinating patient care activities.
• The candidate must be articulate, courteous, able to treat patients independently, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitative care for acute and chronic conditions across a broad age range from neonates to adults is required.
• Successful candidates should have been rated as exceptional or consistently exceptional in previous performance appraisals and possess the ability to respect confidentiality.
