American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a Critical Access Hospital setting in Alaska. Requirements include at least 1 year of PT experience, BLS, AK state license, and Epic EMR familiarity. Pediatric experience is preferred while travelers may float to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF as needed.

The role offers a daytime schedule (5x8 hours) with no on-call or weekend duties. Housing and licensure reimbursements are part of the benefits package for travelers.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Assist with wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialty services.
• Work day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• No on-call or weekend requirements.
• May float within scope to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF as needed.
• Chart in Epic and document assessments, treatments, and plans.
• Support pediatric specialty care including developmental delays and cerebral palsy.

• Critical Access Hospital treating patients of all ages across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings
• Therapy department also provides wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialty services
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Clinician may float within scope to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF as needed
• Level IV Trauma facility with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds
• Charting is done in Epic
• Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across outpatient, acute care, and SNF populations
• May involve pediatric specialty care including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and early intervention programs
• Scrub color is flexible or business casual attire accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
• RTO requests are considered based on request, with commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays
