American Traveler, LLC. seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist with neuro patient population experience for a day-shift assignment in Berkeley, CA. The role focuses on treating outpatient neuro cases with occasional inpatient mental health evaluations.

Candidates must have a CA PT license if applicable and a current BLS certificate, with at least 2 years of recent experience in neuro PT. Local candidates within 50 miles may be preferred.

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with neuro patient population experience for a day-shift assignment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Outpatient PT setting treating neuro patient populations
• Common diagnoses include Parkinson's, MS, ALS, stroke, and spinal cord injury, with some oncology cases
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Will float to the inpatient mental health unit once or twice weekly to perform new patient evaluations
• Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized rehabilitative treatment programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and address disabling conditions
• Develops and updates patient plans of care based on evaluation findings and documents all treatment and charge capture per established standards
• Provides clinical supervision to assistants and aides and may serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students
• Coordinates care with other providers and support staff while maintaining compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards
• Accepts local candidates at a local rate; must reside within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have a 12-month separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
