Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Granite City, IL. You will provide patient-centered therapy in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a valid PT license in Illinois and current BLS. Preferred candidates hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and are open to travel. Start date 10/05/2026 and 40 hours per week are typical for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Engage in QA and professional development to stay current.
