Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Pursue professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or community settings.
