Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Merced, California. This 13-week travel position offers a 40-hour workweek with dayshift, starting 10/12/2026. Requires NPTE or PT degree, state licensure, CPR, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively pursuing licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals per patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy.
• Develop a plan of care for each patient and provide skilled therapy services.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
