Qualifications

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist Licensure.
• BLS certification via AHA.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, involving patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in patient care, family, and departmental meetings.
• Provide counseling on evaluation, care, and treatment options.
• Supervise Physical Therapy and Assistant students and coordinate department operations.
• Adhere to productivity standards and engage in community resource awareness.
• Engage in educational and research activities, fostering professional relationships with medical staff and referral sources.
