Qualifications

A travel Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in diverse healthcare settings, they develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercises and manual therapy techniques. The role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history to identify treatment needs
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
• Use various techniques and equipment to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for continued patient recovery

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• Physical abilities to move equipment (50-100 lbs), assist patients, and remain in a stationary position when needed
