Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Fort Worth, Texas. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

New grads may apply; 1 year of PT experience preferred. Must hold BLS and state-specific licensure. You will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care and document per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Adhere to state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment appropriately.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated by patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and insurance guidelines.
