Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Fort Worth, Texas. The PT should have at least 6 months of experience (6 months minimum; 1 year preferred) and must hold a BLS certification and state licensure.

The position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with dayshift, 8-hour shifts, and travel employment type. The role includes overseeing PTAs, billing per facility guidelines, and ensuring compliance with state PT board regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS certification required; state-specific licensure.
• Physical Therapist license per Texas regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; adjust as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital systems and provide timely documentation adhering to guidelines.
