Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Carrollton, TX. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and a travel employment type with comprehensive benefits.

The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain across hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, collaborating with a clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• PT experience preferred, new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
