Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy services in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will assist patients recovering from injuries to improve mobility, manage referrals, and contribute to rehabilitation goals. The role supports about 13 patients daily in outpatient orthopedic care, with potential for career growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License.
• Outpatient clinical experience including orthopedic cases.
• Proficiency with Web PT EMR.
• BLS certification (preferred).

• Assist patients recovering from injuries under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Access physician notes and manage a patient volume of ~13 daily (≈2 per hour).
• Support outpatient orthopedic care and contribute to rehabilitation goals.

Assist patients recovering from injuries or illnesses, help improve mobility and well-being under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Access physician notes and manage an expected patient volume of approximately 13 patients daily, averaging 2 per hour.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, active State License, outpatient clinical experience (including orthopedic cases), proficiency with Web PT EMR, and potentially BLS certification.

Key Duties

Support outpatient orthopedic care, manage referrals from orthopedic physicians, including post-op and non-surgical patients, and contribute to patient rehabilitation goals.
