Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, OH. This 40-hour-per-week role features 8-hour daytime shifts treating a variety of patients in the acute care setting and requires collaboration with the medical team to ensure a patient-centered plan of care.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred); new grads are welcome. Must hold BLS and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
