Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Independence, Missouri. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting, while coordinating with PTAs and therapy staff.

This 13-week, 40-hour per week travel role requires BLS and state-specific licensing. New graduates are encouraged to apply with appropriate background. Weekly pay and tax-free stipends are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PT license and provide evaluation and plan of care in acute care.
• Experience in PT evaluation, plan of care development, and documentation is required.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within facility guidelines and coding rules.
• Follow state PT board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel to execute team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment used in patient care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
