Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Camp Hill, PA. This 13-week position requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months considered for exceptional candidates), active BLS and state licensure, and a 40-hour work week with 8-hour days.

The PT will evaluate and implement plans of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, supervise PTAs, and coordinate with medical staff. Travel experience and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations.
• Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff.
• Bill for services within the setting according to facility guidelines.
• Communicate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to coordinate care.
• Understand and apply adaptive equipment as needed.
• Evaluate, modify, and document plans of care.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
