Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in West Reading, Pennsylvania. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and carry out a plan of care in an acute care setting, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS and state licensure. 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Travel experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients and developing plans of care for diverse populations.
• Ability to work within acute care settings and adhere to facility guidelines.
• Ability to interact with physicians and staff to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Communicate with Medical Center personnel to ensure team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and prepare care plans.
• Document promptly per state/insurance rules.
