Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Loris, SC is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The PT will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, and collaborate with Medical Center staff to implement the plan.

The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and BLS plus state licensure. Duties include supervising PTAs, billing, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and active state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; bend, lean or stoop as needed.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for team plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
