Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines
• Understand the PT board's rules and comply with state regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged). Exceptional candidates may be considered with 1 year experience.
• Must hold BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
