Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Payson, Arizona. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments across various settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience (new graduates welcomed)
- Additional certifications or licenses may be required
Essential Work Functions
- Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and modalities
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document all interventions in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self‑management
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities
- Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
- English reading, writing, and communication proficiency
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and basic PC skills
- Physical Abilities: Maintain a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills: Work effectively with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive attitude
- Technical/Motor Skills: Fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures and equipment use
- Mental Requirements: Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently or with occasional supervision
- Sensory: Visual acuity and effective communication
