We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Bradenton, Florida.

Job Details

• Shift: Daytime 8‑hour shifts

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred
• Physical therapy experience; new graduates welcome
• Other certifications or licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using standardized tests, exams, and history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment safely
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, self‑management to promote recovery
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Collaborate on discharge planning for transitions to community or home settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
