Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Mason, OH. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shifts, and the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings including hospitals and clinics.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, is BLS certified, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome to apply, with comprehensive travel benefits and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment and modalities safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current in practice.
• Support discharge planning for smooth transitions to home-based care.
