Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Mason, OH. This role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a supportive clinical team to help you deliver exceptional patient care.

You’ll evaluate and treat patients in hospital or clinic settings, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with physicians and staff while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Physical Therapy experience welcome; new grads considered.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate physical therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for community or home-based settings.
