Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist for nationwide 13-week journeys, delivering comprehensive rehab programs and patient education. The role emphasizes collaboration with a rehab team, supervision of staff where applicable, and strict adherence to care plans.

The position requires a valid PT license, a Master’s degree, and willingness to relocate temporarily for assignments across the country. Visa/relocation support and professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in practicing state(s) or proof of eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), with licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and reside temporarily away from home.
• Out-of-US PT degrees must be evaluated to US equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
• Assess, develop and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Refer to other disciplines as needed to address patient needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• Supervise PT assistants, students, and support personnel as applicable.
• Adhere to plan of care, document services, and ensure timely record keeping.
• Order supplies and maintain equipment; promote safety and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate treatment regimens.
