Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Durham, North Carolina. This role offers 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, and the chance to work in diverse settings including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and determine functional limitations.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment.
