Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, NC. The position offers a 40-hour workweek with 8-hour shifts, starting 11/16/2026, and the chance to impact patient mobility and quality of life in a variety of care settings.

The role requires a valid PT license, BLS certification, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. New grads are welcome to apply and travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New grads welcome; PT experience helpful. Licensure/ certs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, history and exam to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes clearly in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to optimize care.
• Educate patients/caregivers on home exercises and self-management.
