TotalMed Allied is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ashburn, Virginia. The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), a valid state license, and BLS certification.

You will supervise PTAs and therapy staff, document per guidelines, coordinate with Medical Center teams, and manage the plan of care, with 40 hours per week on days.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience; however, for exceptional candidates with the appropriate background, 6 months may be accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsabilités

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
