Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Mitchell, SD. The role offers 40 hours per week, weekday shifts, and comprehensive benefits through a travel program with robust clinical support.

You will work in a hospital or facility setting, evaluating and treating patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and ensure successful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify treatment needs.
• Develop rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
