Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Pollocksville, North Carolina. The PT will oversee care, work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, and coordinate with the medical center team to ensure a high standard of patient care.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of travel PT experience (1 year preferred) with current BLS and state licensure. Excellent documentation and teamwork within a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred for travel assignments.
• BLS certification and current state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill per setting guidelines and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board regulations.
• Collaborate with medical center staff to execute care plans.
• Evaluate and update plans of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize facility EMR/IT systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation per guidelines.
