Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The right candidate has 1 year of PT experience, or 6 months with an exceptional background, and must hold BLS and state licensure.

Duties include overseeing PTAs, charting, and coordinating with Medical Center staff to implement a team-based plan of care. Position requires standing/walking for long periods, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and ability to follow facility and

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Physical Therapist; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
