Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Service Floater to travel to client assignments across designated regions. The role requires performing phlebotomy and other specimen collection duties, interacting with patients and client staff professionally, and ensuring timely, accurate processing and documentation of specimens.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel across designated regions with short notice.
• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques and specimen collection procedures.
• Attention to detail in patient and specimen data handling.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client assignments within a designated region.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Ensure all patient service center specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Label, process, and transport specimens per protocol.
• Enter patient and test information into the laboratory systems.
• Maintain daily records and complete required documentation.
