Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy certification or 3+ months phlebotomist experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency required in lieu of work experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
