Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a Phlebotomist to support a research program in the Washington, DC area. You will travel to local sites to collect and prepare specimens, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include collecting blood and occasional nonblood specimens, performing screening tests, processing/centrifuging samples, and preparing shipments while maintaining supplies. Travel is limited to DC area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of blood collection experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and, when needed, nonblood specimens (urine, sputum, throat swabs).
• Perform screening tests and process/centrifuge samples for lab testing.
• Prepare specimens for reference lab shipment and maintain supplies/equipment while traveling.
• Coordinate availability with the project team for travel and dates.
