Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist III for a territory-based role in Hickory, NC, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The position requires travel to PSCs, client offices, and other sites within the territory, with a focus on accurate specimen collection and patient identification. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, current certification where required, and strong communication skills to deliver high-quality laboratory results.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws, with pediatric and geriatric consideration.
• Obtain patient identification and accurate labeling; perform necessary data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, splitting, storage).
• Travel across an assigned territory to PSCs, IOPs, or other sites as needed.
