Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Asheville, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist III to join our patient-focused team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with pay starting at $22.38 per hour.

You will perform specimen collections, ensure accurate labeling, and support transport and processing workflows. The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a valid certification where required, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Travel up to 75%.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws, handling difficult draws when needed.
• Obtain patient identification and confirm labeling accuracy; perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
