Zaddy Solutions in Imperial, CA is seeking a contract phlebotomist to support multiple sites within Imperial and nearby areas. The role involves blood draws, specimen handling, and accurate data entry under supervision, with travel between Brawley and Calexico as needed.

The position requires pediatric and geriatric experience, a valid phlebotomy certification, and the ability to operate a mobile or float staging workflow. Mileage is reimbursed, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously during specimen collection.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles and follow physicians orders.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and properly label, centrifuge, and store specimens.
• Ensure accuracy of test requisitions and package specimens for transport.
• Follow required temperature controls and labeling for specimen transport while maintaining integrity.
• Attend required OSHA/DEP trainings and answer lab results inquiries.
