Job summary

SpecialtyRx is seeking a dependable ADU Travel Technician to support long-term care facilities across Pittsburgh and Eastern OH. You will travel to client sites, maintain ADS inventory, and coordinate with facility staff to ensure accurate records and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and clear written communication; local travel and light lifting are required. Per diem schedule; competitive hourly pay and mileage reimbursement, plus benefits including

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license (as required by state regulations).
• Previous pharmacy, inventory management, or ADS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout the Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern OH area.
• Maintain active communication with client facility staff and pharmacy teams, primarily via email.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within each ADS, including medication quantities and expiration dates.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
• Replace medications approaching expiration to maintain compliance and patient safety.
• Perform monthly audits (cycle counts) to ensure system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Represent SpecialtyRx professionally onsite at client facilities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
