Job summary

SpecialtyRx is hiring an ADU Travel Technician to support long-term care facilities in the Pittsburgh, PA, and Eastern OH area. Travel locally to client sites while maintaining ADS inventory and regulatory compliance.

You will perform cycle counts, replace expiring medications, and coordinate with facility staff to ensure accurate billing and patient safety, reporting to a supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license (as required by state regulations).
• Previous pharmacy, inventory management, or ADS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout the Pittsburgh, PA and Eastern OH area.
• Maintain inventory records within each ADS and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
• Replace medications approaching expiration to maintain compliance and patient safety.
• Perform monthly audits (cycle counts) to ensure system accuracy.
• Communicate with client facility staff and pharmacy teams, primarily via email.
• Represent SpecialtyRx professionally onsite at client facilities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
