Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking an ADU Travel Technician to support long-term care facilities across East St. Louis, IL and surrounding areas. You will travel between sites, work under supervision, and maintain ADS inventory accuracy.

You will communicate with facility staff, perform cycle counts, address expirations, and help ensure billing and regulatory compliance. The role requires a valid Pharmacy Technician license and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy, inventory management, or ADS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout East St. Louis, IL and surrounding areas.
• Maintain active communication with client facility staff and pharmacy teams, primarily via email.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within each Automated Dispensing System (ADS), including medication quantities and expiration dates.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
• Replace medications that are approaching expiration to maintain compliance and patient safety.
• Perform monthly audits (cycle counts) to ensure system accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
