Job summary

SpecialtyRx is seeking an ADU Travel Technician to support long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in East St. Louis, IL and surrounding areas. You will travel between facilities, maintain ADS inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards.

The role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations with reliable transportation. Local travel is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration as required by state regulations.
• Experience in pharmacy, inventory management, or ADS is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel locally and work independently across multiple locations.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under supervision as needed.
• Travel to healthcare facilities throughout East St. Louis, IL and surrounding areas.
• Maintain communication with client staff and pharmacy teams, mainly via email.
• Keep accurate ADS inventory records, including quantities and expiration dates.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies for accurate billing.
• Replace medications nearing expiration to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform monthly cycle counts to verify system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Represent SpecialtyRx professionally onsite at client facilities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
